Continuing the Office 2016 development further, Microsoft has announced Office 2016 build 16.0.6366.2062 to Office Insiders.
Like Windows Insider, Office Insider program is run by Microsoft where users can opt-in to receive Insider releases of Office products. An ‘Insider’ gets first-hand access to the latest innovations and product builds.
An update regarding the Office 2016 Build 16.0.6366.2062 was posted on Office Insider Twitter account as well as Microsoft Forum.
To get the latest Office 2016 Insider build, just open any Office app and head over to File > Account > Update. Choose Update Now to let the update process begin.

“Hey Insiders –
We have a new build for you to put through its paces—16.0.6366.2062. We’ll roll it out over the next few days. To get it now, open an Office app and click File > Account > Update > Update Now,” reads the announcement posted on Microsoft forum.
The latest build of Office 2016 fixes a number of issues among the two listed below.
- Word 2016 doesn’t display your document formatting correctly when you edit a document, as explained here.
- Excel 2016 crashes when using Application.OnKey() to intercept key stroke
If you are not an Office Insider member, you too can join the same. An Office Insider receives Insider builds which contains new features, bug fixes and improvement. Insiders can test product builds and share their feedback directly to Microsoft.
