Samsung’s next Galaxy Note phablet is way too far from being even announced but it doesn’t seem to affect the rumor-mill. After Samsung Galaxy s7 tech specs, features and photos have leaked from every possible angle, it is time for Galaxy Note 6 leaks and rumors to spread around, and it has already started.
If rumors turn out to be fact, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 phablet will feature a whooping 6GB LPDDR4 RAM. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 was one of the first phones to get 4GB RAM and it might be possible Samsung taking a jump from 4GB to 6GB RAM. Most high-end smartphones carry 4GB RAM these days anyway so the memory jump will not be taken as a surprise.
Memory will not be the only thing being increased though. Galaxy Note 6 will sport a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 2560×1440. The screen resolution is same as Galaxy Note 5. The display will be supporting Samsung’s S-Pen stylus.
Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to have 12-megapixel primary camera with “Super OIS Plus”. Front camera doesn’t seem to be hot enough for being rumored as there’s no word about it (yet).
There will likely be two processor options. Snapdragon or Exynos will be powering Samsung’s next Galaxy phablet, depending on region.
Galaxy Note 6’s storage options include inbuilt high-speed memory of 64GB and 128GB. It doesn’t seem to provide memory expansion via external storage.
Samsung is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphone – Galaxy s7 on 21st February. With Galaxy s7’s launch just around the corner, we should expect more leaks and rumors to happen soon. Let’s wait until then.
What do you think about Samsung Galaxy Note 6? Do you think these rumors will turn out to be true? Does a phone really need so much of RAM? Feel free to have your say.
