Pangu Team Releases iOS 9.1 Jailbreak: Download Now

Just out of nowhere, Pangu Team has dropped a jailbreak for iOS 9.1. Pangu jailbreak tool has been updated to work with 64-bit iOS 9.1 devices.

According to Pangu Team, the iOS 9.1 jailbreak uses a kernel bug from Lokihardt to exploit iOS 9.1. This bug has been patched by Apple in iOS 9.2.

Lokihardt is nick of a South Korean hacker named Jung Hoon Lee. Lee is the hacker behind hacking Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari browsers and winning $225,000 in prize at Pwn2Own 2015.

Coming back to iOS 9.1 jailbreak, iOS 9.1 jailbreak is only helpful to those who have not upgraded their device past iOS 9.1. iOS 9.1 signing window is already closed by Apple so an upgrade or downgrade to iOS 9.1 is not possible.

If your device is running on iOS 9.1, you can jailbreak it using today’s Pangu9 v1.3.0 iOS 9.1 jailbreak. If your device is not running iOS 9.1 at the moment, you’re out of luck and will need to wait for a new jailbreak.
