Gameloft Releases Modern Combat 5: Blackout for iOS, Android and Windows Phone

Last week, Gameloft held a competition for its fans. The winning prize was full copy of Modern Combat 5: Blackout. Shortly after the competition, one of the winners allegedly pirated the game and made it available on several torrent sites. Several gameplay videos also appeared on YouTube, only to be taken down soon. Now after getting furious about the piracy of this latest installment in the well-known FPS series, Gameloft has finally released Modern Combat 5: Blackout for iOS, Android and Windows phone.

Modern Combat series is critically acclaimed and well received FPS game series for mobile devices. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour was the last part in Modern Combat series which was released last year. Now the latest part in the series is receiving greatly positive reviews shortly after its release. As always, Gameloft has worked hard on the game’s graphics part offering console-like graphics. The visuals looks stunning and real. IGN has praised Modern Combat 5 gameplay and graphics saying “It plays as good as it looks.”

Modern Combat requires iOS 7.0 or later iOS device. On Android platform, it works on version 4.0 and later, while on Windows phone OS, it works with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Modern Combat Requires an internet connection to play. As with many games nowadays, Gameloft is not offering in-app purchase with Modern Combat 5.
