VAIO Launches VAIO Phone At $420

VAIO Corporation, once a part of Sony Corporation and now owned by Japan Industrial Partners has made its first move in the smartphone market by launching its first smartphone. VAIO Has simply named it VAIO Phone. The 5-inch VAIO Phone is running Android 5.0 Lollipop with some decent hardware specifications. It will be interesting to see one more player in the booming sector of smartphones.

VAIO Phone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM. VAIO is providing promising in-built storage of 16 GB which can be expanded to 64 GB. It boasts 5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution.

The camera part is what commonly seen in almost all smartphones nowadays with 13 megapixel primary camera with flash and 5 megapixel secondary (front) camera. As we know, the actual camera performance is not solely based on how many pixels is boasts as 8 megapixel camera of iPhone 6 provides outstanding camera results.

Weighing around 130 gram, this smartphone from VAIO is backed by 2500 mAh battery.

VAIO phone will be available in Japanese markets from 20th March.
