CES 2016: Dell Updates Latitude Product Lineup With New Devices

Dell introduced a number of devices which includes Latitude Ultrabook and 2-in-1s. Dell has refreshed the entire Latitude lineup with new thin, light and powerful devices.
 
“With the new Latitude line, we are delivering commercial devices employees will desire for being thinner, lighter and more capable than many of the most popular consumer products without compromising on the security and manageability requirements of IT.” – said Kirk Schell, vice president and general manager, commercial client solutions, Dell.

Let’s have a look at these devices one by one.


Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook (7370)

Dell has unveiled Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook which is claimed to be ‘the world’s smallest 13-inch business-class Ultrabook’. Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook is built using layers of 40 ton carbon fiber. An optional machined aluminum model is available as well. Along with stylish and lightweight body, this Latitude has also received InfinityEdge display, almost eliminating the bazel.

Latitude 13 is available with a 13.3-inch QHD+ touch display (3200 x 1800) with Gorilla Glass  and a non-touch FHD anti-glare display (1920 x 1080). Powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core M processor, Latitude 13 also features 512GB SSD storage, USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 jacks, mSATA and PCIe SSDs up to 512GB,  a smartcard reader, a fingerprint reader, and an RFID reader.

Weighing 2.48 pounds, Latitude 13 will provide up to 10 hours of battery life, as claimed by Dell.

CES 2016: Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook

Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook will be available from 8th March (International Women’s Day!) in the U.S. at the price of $1,299.

Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 (7275)

Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core M chip and up to 8GB RAM. It provides up to 512GB SSD storage. Along with this, Dell Latitude 12 features two USB Type-C ports, a five-megapixel front camera and an eight-megapixel rear camera.

The 12.5-inch touch display will be available in FHD or UHD with hardened Gorilla Glass. Latitude 12 can connect to Dell Dock and the Dell Thunderbolt Dock. It can be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE or HSPA+ modems.

Latitude 12’s battery supports ExpressCharge. Dell’s Active Pen stylus is also available as optional accessory. Latitude 12 weighs 3.1 pounds with Dell’s lightweight Slim keyboard attached to it.

Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 will become available in the U.S. through Dell.com in early February at the price tag starting from $1,049.


Dell Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 (5175)

Weighing just about 1.56 pounds, the new Latitude 11 is a thin and light 10.8-inch business-class 2-in-1 announced by Dell. It is designed with premium materials which include lightweight magnesium and hardened glass.

With a 10.8-inch 1080p display, Latitude 11 features a 6th-generation Intel Core M processor with up to 8GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 515 graphics, USB Type-C port, one USB 3.0 Type A port, 1 micro HDMI port, card reader, and a SIM card slot.

Dell offers an optional stylus for hand-written input.

CES 2016: Dell Latitude 11 5000 2-in-1

Dell Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 will be available from early February 2016 via Dell.com in the U.S. starting at $749.
