Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Mobile Preview Build 10586.71

As expected, Microsoft has pushed a new Windows 10 mobile preview build for Insiders. The new build – 10586.71, is a cumulative update released in Fast ring which contains a number of bug fixes. A cumulative update was expected soon after Microsoft recently released a configuration update for Windows 10 mobile preview build.

On the Windows 10 mobile front, Microsoft has been working on improving upgrade experience from Windows 8/8.1 devices to Windows 10. Cumulative update 10586.71 brings noticeable improvements in the performance and reliability of upgrade experience according to Gabriel Aul, Corporate Vice President, Engineering Systems Team at Microsoft.

Previous Windows 10 mobile update for Insiders was a configuration update which was released to  “prepare devices to receive the next cumulative updates.” Devices with configuration update installed will notice improvements in receiving today’s preview build according to Aul.

We have another Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10586 which we’re releasing today to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring, Build 10586.71.
